Chalk Pastel
A3
Frogs are my favourite animal and I've been a fan of Kermit the Frog ever since watching The Muppet Show as a little boy. I was given a Kermit soft toy when I was seven and he has been a much loved companion over the years.
With a focus on character drawing using the chalk pastel medium in a few of my art classes, I knew I needed to draw Kermit. Fozzie and Gonzo were already on the scene and begging for their friend to join them. Using a tea commercial for inspiration, I used the image of Kermit but changed the background and the tea cup to give a more natural, Arts and Crafts movement feel. Kermit sits in a stylish tea rooms adorned with fitting water lily themed wallpaper as he enjoys a "sip of serenity".
This image will be printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper to best suit the original medium.

Most of my original artworks are available in archival quality print form and are printed using the giclée process by ACME et al in Steels Creek, Victoria. Each stage of the printing process is carefully overseen by James, the printer (with nearly three decades of industry experience), to ensure the highest quality product. These prints are made to last for decades with minimal fading and are printed on high-end, sturdy papers.
Because the prints are made on demand and printed individually rather being mass-produced, please allow between two to three weeks for processing and delivery of your order (or a little longer for customers outside of Australia).
Please note that framing is not included with print purchases.
