In 2023, I paid my first visit to Queensland - catching up with family and enjoying a much-needed rest. I stayed in Caloundra and from there, took several trips to nearby Montville and Maleny. Along the way, I had magnificent views of the Glasshouse Mountains - almost pyramid-like formations rising above the surrounding plains. Glimpses of these mountains could be seen through gaps in the vegetation while driving and then appeared in all their glory where there were clearings. 'Admiring the View' shows one such scene. It was painted with watercolours in a 'picturesque' style.
This image will be printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® paper (308 gsm) to best suit the original medium.
Admiring the View
Most of my original artworks are available in archival quality print form and are printed using the giclée process by ACME et al in Steels Creek, Victoria. Each stage of the printing process is carefully overseen by James, the printer (with nearly three decades of industry experience), to ensure the highest quality product. These prints are made to last for decades with minimal fading and are printed on high-end, sturdy papers.
Because the prints are made on demand and printed individually rather being mass-produced, please allow between two to three weeks for processing and delivery of your order (or a little longer for customers outside of Australia).
Please note that framing is not included with print purchases.
My artworks are scanned and printed by ACME et al in Steels Creek in the scenic Yarra Valley, Victoria. ACME et al have over 20 years of industry experience and use the giclée printing process with archival quality papers - creating faithful and long-lasting reproductions. The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is among their distinguished clientele.
The giclée printing process creates very high-quality prints that last for decades with minimal fading. It uses archival level pigment inks and papers which help to create faithful reproductions of original artworks. A wide variety of papers and materials (such as canvas) can be used in this process.
Hahnemühle Photo Rag® is one of the world’s most popular papers and the valued all-rounder for high-quality FineArt inkjet printing. The white cotton artist’s paper, with its characteristic, wonderfully soft feel, boasts a lightly defined felt structure, lending each artwork a three-dimensional appearance and impressive pictorial depth. Combined with the matt premium inkjet coating, this paper produces outstanding prints that feature brilliant colours, deep blacks, striking contrasts and perfect reproduction of detail. This acid- and lignin-free classic meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance and is specially designed for FineArt applications. Whether it is used for FineArt photography or art reproductions, the ideal combination of structure, print quality and weight makes Photo Rag® one of the most versatile FineArt inkjet papers.
As a special highlight, the Photo Rag® 308 is also available with hand-torn deckle edges on all four sides. The result is exclusive prints which truly come into their own in a shadow box frame.

If you would prefer a different print size to those listed, custom sizing can be arranged through email. This also applies if you would prefer an image to be printed on canvas (unstretched). Contact me at info@robertkingdomart.com to discuss options.
It is helpful to note that the original sizes/dimensions of my artworks vary and this can impact how well the images translate across to different ratios of print/framing sizes. Original artworks that are smaller in size can only be enlarged so much before losing definition.
Prints will be mailed directly from ACME et al (in most cases) to the customer. The cost of postage is included within the overall price of the print for customers within Australia. An additional fee of $15.00 AUD will be required for international customers.
Prints will be sent directly to the customer by ACME et al within 2-3 weeks upon receiving an order within Australia and a little longer for overseas.

If there is a significant issue with the quality of the print(s) upon arrival you may request a replacement or refund. A clear photo of the item(s) in question will be required (attached to an email) before any action is taken. Please note that colours and tones will display differently depending on the settings of the individual viewing devices (laptops, mobiles, etc.) and that a slight difference in these variables may not warrant a replacement or refund. Replacements or refunds will not be given for a change of mind about any items purchased.
