Welcome to Mr Kingdom's School of Art!

Mr Kingdom's School of Art caters for children, teens and adults interested in learning traditional drawing and painting skills and acquiring a knowledge of art theory and history. Online classes are offered for groups and individuals and some face to face classes are offered for Homeschool students and adults.

Classes are taught from a Christian-worldview - looking at the world of art through a biblical lens. Great care will be taken to ensure that the content of lessons is age-appropriate and modest.

​

The following age groups are catered for:

Children (6-9, 10-12 years)

Teens (13 -18 years)

Adults

Online classes operate through Zoom (international students are welcome). Face-to-face classes are held in Melbourne's outer-western suburbs (City of Wyndham).

​

Online classes for children/teens 2024 will include:

7:00 - 8:00pm AEST Mondays (Upper Primary/Secondary - for more advanced students)
7:00 - 8:00pm AEST Tuesdays (Upper Primary/Lower Secondary - mixed ability)
4:15 - 5:15pm AEST Thursdays (Lower Primary/6-9 Year Old)

Additional classes may be formed if there is enough demand.

* Please note that these times are a guide and that some changes may occur over time. These times are current as of 16/1/24.

Pricing:

Individual tutorials: $60 AUD for an hour long session.

Group classes: $25 per person for an hour long session (excluding the cost of materials/equipment). A reduced rate of $20 per lesson is on offer for upfront payment for a whole term's lessons.

*Payment for missed lessons will be required where 24 hours' notice has not been given.

 

Home-education groups are also welcome to connect with me and discuss different options. Parents may participate in the classes along with their children. Half of my students currently are home-schooled and some join the afternoon and evening classes along with mainstream school students.
